Record group RG 75-105 consists of the summary annual statistical and financial reports on Michigan school districts for the years 1932-1953. By law, annual reports were prepared by the director or secretary of each school district and then submitted to the county commissioner of schools. A summary report was then prepared for the Superintendent of Public Instruction. Form statistical reports may offer whole and fractional number of districts; type of district; number of children 5-19 years of age inclusive; number of non-resident children; average membership; average days of attendance; enrollment by grade; number of volumes in the library; number of volumes added during the year; number of school houses; value of school property; number of teachers and their wages; district debts; tax report; deliquent taxes due the district; money due the district; as well as board member names and post office address. The form financial reports includes a breakdown of revenues and disbursements.
